Nashville. Charleston is very intriguing and Nashville is a tad underwhelming for its brand...but I'd still have to go with it for the larger size, entertainment industry, and no state income tax.
Austin, TX v Columbus, OH
Columbus, OH. Austin is not my cup of tea. I like Ohio better than Texas in general.
Miami. It's one of the last places I'd choose in FL, but I'm a native Floridian, so I'll go with it because anywhere in FL is better than anywhere in MA.

Prattville, AL or Madison, MS?
Honestly never heard of either. Both seem like sleepy southern towns. Prattville is closer to Montgomery, Birmingham, Mobile and Atlanta. Madison is closer to Jackson, Vicksburg, Memphis and New Orleans. All different places I would be interested in visiting. I'm going to say it's a tie for me.
Raleigh, NC. It's where I currently live and I did have the opportunity to move to Columbia when my dad lived near there. After visiting several times though, vastly preferred Raleigh mostly due to the economy, infrastructure, and thriving construction boom.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Reno, Nevada?
Reno. I like Nevada, and it’s not that far from where I grew up. Plus skiing right next door. Not that I think OKC is actually a bad place to be, just that between the two, Reno pretty much holds all the cards.
Carlisle, PA, my home for the night, or Marietta, GA?

Truckee... warmer winters (but more snow), just a half hour from Reno, better outdoor recreation opportunities, just seems more attractive all-around to me.

Miami, FL or Seattle, WA?
I notice these two are often compared because as coastal cities they are complete opposites. I've lived in Seattle before for a good long stint. I remember it well, the city will always have a piece of me, but I will not likely ever move back as it's now too expensive and changed so much. However, I'd sooner move there than Miami as Seattle is much more compatible for me. I prefer Seattle's urban core and Pacific NW surroundings.
Now the other opposites.....

Boston or San Diego?
Boston, for I've lived here my whole life. I like the seasons, relative closeness for travel to of all of New England and travel to the Mid Atlantic, and Canada.
San Diego looks lovely though, in all honesty.
Next: Charleston, SC vs Portland, ME
The cities with sister forts; Fort Sumter and Fort Gorges
