Tucson, although I'd be happy either place. Proximity to the border for shopping, cheap meds, etc., and the scenic mountain ranges and interesting towns south of 10 and east of 19 do it for me. I've done a lot of driving-around stop-for-lunch type exploration in that area lately. It's underrated in my opinion. Bisbee and Tombstone are not the only things to see down there. And there's jaguars in the mountains! Sleeper pro for Colorado Springs, at least for a guy like me: Fossil hunting in Florissant. You can find some of the same fossils in road cuts that they find in the protected area.

Chattanooga or Huntsville?

Portland, Maine. I've heard that portland, OR is really overrated and rainy. Plus I love the extremes of the four seasons that main has and I think maine is a really beautiful state(this might not be an outstanding reason but portland, main actually has some really good bars too).

St. Louis or Jacksonville, FLA?

Spokane wins vs. all other cities for me. It can go without explanation, but I've made it clear in all of my posts re: Spokane, that it's where (in a perfect world) I'd be for the duration.

Seattle, WA or Mountain Home, AR?
