Which of these cities do you find in general to be the most beautiful" to live?Consider landscape, natural setting andbuilt environment of neighborhood and public structures like parks and other public spaces.
Atlanta. It is green, has more significant forest cover than the others, and better variety and collection of architecture (varying styles) than the others.
I gotta go with Phoenix. The landscaping and environment is so unique to the States, and is supremely clean. The steep mountains that ring the city are eye candy, especially when outlying ranges like the Mazatzal and Superstitions have some snow on their peaks.
TBH Dallas might be more competitive if it were pitted against the likes of Wichita, Kansas, and Lincoln, Nebraska.
Dallas doesn't have the tree cover of Atlanta or Houston, nor does it have topography like Phoenix or Atlanta.
When it comes to how it's built-out, Dallas has a lot of spiffy new stuff, but the city's record when it comes to preserving its history is spotty at best. Outside of Deep Ellum and Bishop Arts, historical buildings seem to have a 50/50 shot of being renovated or bulldozed. Several turn of the century buildings on Elm Street in downtown were razed and replaced by a bunch of bland, soulless dreck.
