This link only shows one as of Jan 2nd. It hasn't been updated so I can't say how many have happened since then, if any.

This means that there was a murder in the first two days of the year....hardly a good start to the year.

2017 homicides - Omaha homicide victims and information - Omaha.com - Omaha World-Herald

Omaha: 3 homicides this year.

I used to live in Omaha and really am rooting for it. I know in 2015 it had 50 homicides but luckily last year id dropped to 29 homicides a decline of 41%.

Hopefully, Omaha does not have the highly unusual year that 2015 was that smashed by a wide-margin the all-time record high for city of 445,000

http://www.omaha.com/news/crime/numb...47433bd1f.html

http://www.keyc.com/story/34488042/d...micide-of-year

Des Moines is up to 7 homicides. I do know that Iowa has had some massive issues due to the influx of people from major midwestern cities porting section 8 vouchers looking for a better life.

From doing an internet search on news archives it looks like Phoenix has had 7 homicides this year with a population of 1.5 million people.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Jurisdiction is up to 21 with Clark County, Nevada up to 25.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Jurisdiction and Phoenix both have 1.5 million people, so it looks like triple the amount of homicides in LMVPD jurisdiction.

Halfway through February, St. Louis and Baltimore already have almost double the rate of New York City all of last year

Through February 5th. The most dangerous borough, Manhattan has about half the homicide rate of San Francisco. Queens, a borough that is about the size of St. Louis, Baltimore, Detroit, New Orleans, and Birmingham combined, has managed 4 homicides so far. For a borough that is nearly 1/2 foreign born and has thousands of illegal immigrants...those illegals sure suck at this "crime" thing

Manhattan 7/0.43
Staten Island 2/0.42
The Bronx 5/0.34
Brooklyn 6/0.23
Queens 4/0.17
