That statement reminds me of all the scared little suburbanites from the Main Line who I laugh at.
As Pine to Vine said the poster is a massive troll. The pizza story is fiction. Trolls craft crap on boards all the time. They're attention whores.

My mother was not comfortable in Center City, and that's why I was embarrassed of this downtown. I took her on a tour of Philly. The first thing we did is order a pizza in Center City. The homeless guy came up to us and asked for a slice of pizza, so my mother gave him a slice of pizza. She goes to me, "what the hell you brought me to?" It's the truth! You need to go and take a second look at Downtown Philly and see that there are aggressive homeless people. It's also dirty, too. The cops told us that's not that safe, too. He said don't go to certain areas of Center City.

San Jose is easily a better city than Philly. Moderate coastal California weather vs frigid northeastern weather. Philly may have a better built environment, but it can't do anything about it's climate zone.

See its suburban characters like yourself whom city life will eat up. Based on those statements about a homeless person and both of you two being scared of him. This is too funny. Have you seen homeless people in San Jose or San Francisco ? Now we cant send you to Manhattan can we ? :-) And we love our climate zone....it snowed so nicely today all day.

Boy have a seat, you sit behind the computer going by magazines the whole time....if Philly one of the worst then why is there a few multi-million dollar companies head quartered here, one of the few places students stay after they graduate college and people wanting to move here because they can afford it and enjoy it.
