Man, I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to make a silly list like this. I will never understand you people. My personal one would be
1. San Diego
2. L.A
3. Bay Area(East Bay and Silicon Valley, Not SF)
4. Miami
5. Atlanta
6. Charlotte
7. Austin/San Antonio
8. Nashville
9. Phoenix
10. Jacksonville
Yeah......let's just agree to disagree Personally this wouldn't be my top 10 places to live. Climate isn't the only thing that matters, but it's up there.
Right. Its so silly to include cities that have 4 seasons with autumn leaves and crisp weather, snow, spring showers and warm but not brutal summers... but its not silly to include a city that literally becomes a stove top for 4 months of the year (Phoenix)

And boring San Diego.
I mean... the city is nice. (although I've met cities with more character.... it seemed like any other Southern Californian city to me) I think I'd go crazy if it was sunny and warm every single day. Like those movies where you keep living the same day over and over until you fix your sin or whatever.
I wouldn't wanna be outside in 110+ degree weather, YMMV.
Neither do I, nor do I want to be outside when it's -20 and gale force winds. Phoenix gets 7-8 months of excellent weather which is by far more than most of the country and the bad weather months are custom made to hop in a pool....plus, no snow to shovel or ice to scrape off your car every time you go out in the winter.

Liking the cold is silly to me. I've lived in North Eastern PA. Don't like the Cold. Phoenix might suck in the Summer (the reason why it was only 9 and not higher), but for most of the year it's 70-85 with abundant sunshine. Perfect weather. I don't understand how anyone could prefer cold and snow to that. Also If you couldn't tell, I'll take hot steamy Summers over brutally cold winters any day. Out of the list that guy made Denver and maybe Boston are the only climates I could tolerate.
Amen. Its funny cuz I grew up in Miami yet I don't get cold very easily. I can go out in 15 degrees and barely feel a thing. I wonder why so many people complain? Are they not dressing right? It is not that hard to dress for the cold just layer up.
Yeah.....Well my problem is I HATE layering up. F that. I want to be able to wear a sweatshirt and that's it. If I have to put anything more than that on, it's too cold.

It only reaches -20 once or twice a year in Minneapolis, and that's including wind chill. Even for those who don't like cold, spring, summer and fall in a four season climate easily provide 8 months of pleasant weather. Many people have snow plows which makes it really easy and only needs to be done whenever it snows (once every week or two). No need to scrape ice when you have a garage.

Guess you've never experienced snow forts, snowball fights, snowmen and snow angels, sledding, tubing, snowboarding, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, hockey, ice castles and sculptures, etc. And if you also love swimming then I can understand where you are coming from.
