San Jose has a better and more fun downtown with actual many fun stuff to do downtown, not just in neighborhoods. SJ wins just about every metric you come up with: population, size, economy, wealth, shopping, diversity, downtown, and transportation.

You clearly never have been to San Jose: a much bigger and much more of a real city than a mid sized Denver can ever be
Final conclusion: San Jose got this one over Denver. Denver is a good city but doesn't measure up to San Jose, which is another league. Denver is compared favorably to Kansas City, Baltimore, Milwaukee and Portland.
Is that a joke?!? Shoreline looks just like every other generic amphitheatre in every other generic city. Red Rocks is recognized as the pinnacle of outdoor venues in the country and a place musicians dream to play.
You may as well have posted a picture of a painting your six-year-old did and compared it to the Picasso that I have hanging in Denver.

Not really. San Jose has every upscale store Denver has plus many, many stores Denver doesnt have.
