People from Memphis go to Chicago?! Never met many Memphis folks here.

If you mean many Chicago folks go to Memphis, that's just funny then.

There are more people in Metro Las Vegas who were born in another western state than there are people who were born in Nevada. Considering that California comprises 51% of the total population of the Western U.S., and is closer to Las Vegas than most western states, we could probably assume that Californians represent 60-70% of Las Vegas residents born in a western state other than NV.

Las Vegas is becoming "Los Angeles East." Or maybe the new East Los Angeles?

I'd say more Orlando than anything. NYC maybe a generation or two ago, but seems like most Puerto Ricans in NYC are descendants, with a LOT of them not even knowing much Spanish.

It's been trending upwards for a while, but yes, after Irma, things changed quite drastically.

After Irma, the influx virtually doubled.

Kissimmee is something around 75% Hispanic now (I don't have the exact figure, but I do recall reading this from multiple sources), and the vast majority of that is from PR.

East Orlando has also been a major hotbed for Puerto Rican migrants.

No PR Parade... yet.

In my 35 years of living I've never heard of Miami being considered the 6th borough of NYC. Not once until you brought it up here on this site. Miami is more akin to Panama City, Panama or Cartagena in than it is to NYC.

It is however a playground for NY'ers and many northerners in general as well as Europeans.

The black communities in the Houston, Los Angeles, and Bay areas traditionally have a New Orleans flavor.

I don’t get this. San Diego has no connection to Boston. I’m sure people from Boston move to SD. So do people from everywhere else.
