St. Louis. The Arch really sets the skyline off nicely.
Tampa, FL or Phoenix, AZ?
I think both skylines are lacking given the size of their cities, but Phoenix is lacking plus it's short and stubby due to height restrictions. Tampa gets the nod here.

Chicago or Manhattan?
Manhattan. Chicago is nice but Manhattan has prettier towers being built.
Charlotte. I really like their skyline and different buildings. Looks GREAT at night.
Harrisburg PA or Durham, NC
Harrisburg. The riverfront setting and skyline with the many bridges have an appearance of a city that's twice as big as it actually is. Coming from DC/Baltimore, it also means that you're almost at Hersheypark! Durham's skyline meanwhile is a bit like Lancaster, PA: it has no river and only two real highrises downtown, and is difficult to see from the highway. Its disappointing for a city that supposedly contains the Harvard of the South.

Mexico City has some unique architecture and the landscape makes it more interesting. However, as far as skylines go, Chicago is much better than Mexico City's sporadic high rises.

San Antonio or Fort Worth?
San Antonio. It is more classical looking and balanced.
Gonna go with Youngstown. Old school better than new school. Providence, RI vs. Jacksonville, Fla
