You can get an awesome view of Tampa’s size coming South on the Veteran’s Expy towards 275, or when you hit the Selmon from I4 West.

I agree that the decentralization takes away from the magnitude of it. If it were more centralized the way Charlotte is, it would be an entirely different story.

Yes. Can see Downtown, Westshore, Bayshore, St Pete, Midtown, Rocky Point all in one shot. Combine it all, it'd be something. But personally I like all the towers not being in one place. Atlanta isn't that way, nor is Miami.

Tough and subjective, arguments could be made for both:

Both states will be growing fast, though I think Florida is slightly faster and imo, given COL, Tampa will shoot ahead of Miami in growth. Charlotte's growth would be hampered by the Triangle. Slightest edge to tampa? Meh.[*]Which city would be best for young professionals (non-married)? Charlotte has more professionals I think. I prefer to be by the water.
