4 year old boy shot and killed in a home invasion at about 1am in North Philadelphia. I guess that makes 36 or 37 in January.

The story was later updated that boy found a gun in the home and accidentally shot himself, so not a murder.

But regardless, the murder rate is shockingly high for January.

Yeah I guess after a quick investigation they discovered that the father fabricated his story. He wasn't even with his son upstairs where he was dying, he was waiting downstairs with his younger son.
