Question. Why was the Battle for #7 thread closed? I saw the reasoning was too many duplicate accounts but we had that problem in here as well at one point.
This thread was around before the uptick in troll accounts and has a better mix of good debate. The #7 thread went off the rails within 1 day.
Several threads on here have derailed unfortunately due to the uptick in troll accounts.
Yeah you know what, actually Atlanta really is #8. Philadelphia is #9. THAT is truly my final answer.
OP, are we going to have a Battle of "number 8" Poll in the future?
That would be a tough battle. I would own towards Philly but I think ATL would win based on the sheer numbers of ATL posters on this forum who never considers any city other than Atl.

Nah I'm pretty confident in my ranking. I don't think any city is ever tied. Atlanta is above Philadelphia. Philadelphia is above Miami and Dallas. My list is finalized and nothing will change my mind.

Come on now. There are more than a few people on here who say Atlanta who arent actually Atlanta posters. For some reason even though there have been good arguments that would place Atlanta over Philly, you dont want to see it.
I say Atlanta but I can see why some would say Philly.I dont think either answer is wrong. Especially considering its less than a 50 million GDP and Atlanta has a much faster growing economy and population . Not to mention a bigger cultural reach than Philly.
As I sated beforeallas and Houston surpassed Philly in GDP within the last 10 years and Atlanta with its growth is on track to do it probably within the next 5 years
Maybe its you that is closed mined

Assuming #7 went to Houston, which it looks/sounds like from discussions here and brief moment the #7 thread up, it would really boil down to where all of the Boston/Houston votes go to. I noted before that I would think alot of #6 Boston votes would go to Houston.... and now where do those votes go to? Atlanta will probably maintain as those forumers never vote for anyone else but would they get new voters? I think alot of the Boston votes that went to Houston would then rebound to Philly.
