Yeah just about every city is under counted but a lot.
Houston has over 100 buildings over 100M
Was about to come in here and say this. There are way more than 3 under construction right now in Houston. Pretty much all are inside the loop and the galleria area. Dallas also has more than what is listed.
I hate to be that guy, but this smells of Nashville boosterism, as it's seemingly the only city that's about accurate (actually OVER, from my quick observation...) (Miami is also WAY off, among others.) Seems like a "We're building as fast as NYC" post, more than anything.
The numbers are off for Connecticut cities. It looks like the OP is using population statistics from the MSAs, so I'd assume that means the total number of 300+ ft buildings in those MSAs should be counted, not just the ones in the central city's downtown.
So Hartford should have a total of 10, since the city of Bristol (within the MSA) has 1 building over 300 ft.
In addition, the Stamford-Bridgeport MSA has a population around a million, so it should be in the top 5 list. Stamford currently has 2 buildings higher than 300 ft and 1 currently under construction.
If the threshold is 300ft, NYC has WAAAAAAAAY more than 10 U/C, and closer to 100...
NYC reads "10+" which means I couldn't verify exactly how many, but at least 10 and most likely more.
