Just out of curiosity, how are you defining "under construction"? Does that mean a structure is present or any type of construction activity is taking place (e.g. site clearance, excavation).

Well, technically, the Rockies are split into 100's of ranges out west. So I just went with Rockies instead of Mountains.

I'll be glad to use those going forward and for sure admit the error, if you cite sources.
The building in Bristol, CT is the Otis Elevator Test Building and it's 383 ft tall according to this website: https://www.emporis.com/buildings/12...bristol-ct-usa

Bristol is located a little under 20 miles from Hartford and is within the Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, CT Metropolitan Statistical Area: Moderator cut: link removed, competitor site

For Stamford, the two current 300+ buildings are:
-Trump Parc Stamford= 350 ft
-Atlantic Station 355= 315 ft

The building under construction is a twin of Atlantic Station 355, called Atlantic Station 421, which will be the same height and is expected to be done this year. See: Current Developments | Stamford Downtown - This is the place! and https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downtown_Stamford

Also, I respect all the work you put into this list and your other posts like it. There's bound to be a few errors when dealing with that much data. I wish other people would stop assuming that a few minor errors mean you're trying to manipulate the data. That's not the case.

A site that has land graded/with shovels in the ground already.

I didn't want to include proposed/approved ones. If some are listed in the count, that means Wikipedia or Emporis is off--which they sometimes can be.

Boston&Cambridge

1) Winthrop Square Tower (691ft)
2) Bulfinch Crossing (647ft)
3) South Station Tower (678ft)
4) Loomsey Tower/Garden Garage (470ft)
5) Raffles (448ft)
6) Flower Exchange Building (300ft)
7) MIT Kendall 4 (350sh Feet)
8) MXD Kendall (310ft)
9) Verizon Tower/Office Hub On Causeway (510ftsh)
10) One of the Cambridge Xing Buildings is over 300ft

Not a ton, but Boston has atleast 30 buildings under construction in the 220-300ft range include about 9 in the Seaport and 3 in Chinatown. SomervileCambridge each have about 15 in this range in total. 3 in Assembly alone.

Yeah, it's a bit hard to tally. San Diego's total of 4 should actually be at least 7 given your definition. Manchester Pacific Gateway, a multi-phase, multi-year development is under construction. The first building topped out. There are three more to be constructed.

So yes, this thread comes off as VERY suspect, especially considering your past boosterism posts. LOL
Nashville:

Four Seasons Hotel: 550
One22One office: 410:
Broadwest Office and Condo/Hotel: Tower 1: 405, Tower 2: 345
Nashville Yards/Amazon campus: multiple tower project. 4 towers of at least 300 and over.
805 Lea: 310
Gulch Union Office: Over 300
Embassy Suites: Over 300

That's 12 projects of 300' and over currently under construction not including proposed or recently completed off the top of my head and there's actually more I'm forgetting that's not included. There's also 2 more that I left off cause they just missed the mark in the 295-299 range.

I wish threads were not started with info from Wikipedia.
The info is not even close to accurate for almost all of these cities.

Missing one or two skyscrapers are one thing but when is off by 40+ skyscrapers that's just flat put unreliable

I do take exception with mixing MSA population rankings with then city limit defined skyscraper counts. Please try to keep things apples to apples.
