I hate to be that guy, but this smells of Nashville boosterism, as it's seemingly the only city that's about accurate (actually OVER, from my quick observation...) (Miami is also WAY off, among others.) Seems like a "We're building as fast as NYC" post, more than anything.
Yeah, you are that guy. LOL
It's not Nashville boosterism.

You should do a list if you think this one is lame. LOL
The numbers are off for Connecticut cities. It looks like the OP is using population statistics from the MSAs, so I'd assume that means the total number of 300+ ft buildings in those MSAs should be counted, not just the ones in the central city's downtown.
So Hartford should have a total of 10, since the city of Bristol (within the MSA) has 1 building over 300 ft.
In addition, the Stamford-Bridgeport MSA has a population around a million, so it should be in the top 5 list. Stamford currently has 2 buildings higher than 300 ft and 1 currently under construction.
Sources?
I'll be glad to use those going forward and for sure admit the error, if you cite sources.

Well it sure comes off like that, considering you severely under-counted NYC for whatever reason (even if you didn't feel like counting, anyone with a blind eye knows there are far, FAR more than 10) while you inflated Nashville's numbers to include "proposed" buildings as opposed to only those actually under construction.
So yes, this thread comes off as VERY suspect, especially considering your past boosterism posts. LOL

So do a list--I'd love to check it out.
