A year later, these two are still about the same to me.
A slight edge might be given to St. Louis for being bigger and more interesting. It has some nice suburbs.
Also, I like Missouri quite a bit better than Indiana as a place to live. That metro across the state I'd totally live in again.
St Louis, I like it's free legacy amenities and it's new amenities like St Louis Aquarium and new St Louis ferris wheel, It Looks bad in some places but I like how St Louis has character and A Sense of Place

St Louis definitely has a good sense of place. I love Indianapolis downtown also. I can't think of anything else I would prefer in Indianapolis. I have never been disappointed with my visits there but I don't know if I prefer it to St Louis.
