Cities in the same metro area...

Middletown NY: https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4522...8192?entry=ttu

or

Poughkeepsie NY: https://www.google.com/maps/@41.6980...2i38?entry=ttu
They're pretty similar but I guess Poughkeepsie out of these two neighborhoods, it just looks a bit better kept up and the landscaping is less "bare grass monoculture". However I checked out their downtowns and I prefer Middletown's -- pretty wild how a town that size has a 3-story Asian supermarket. (Maybe it's just the first floor, but having an Asian supermarket at all is impressive)

Lower Sahali, Kamloops, BC, CAN

or

Kensington, CA, USA?

I'll go with Kamloops. I like the view of the hills better, and the houses have more distance between them.

I'll go with the more green look of Hiawassee Hills.

A couple of neighborhoods in the SW portion of their cities.

Strathmore, Syracuse NY: https://www.google.com/maps/@43.0226...8192?entry=ttu

or

Glenwood, Athens GA: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.9287...8192?entry=ttu

A new matchup...

Euclid Ave.-Montrose Street Historic District, Worcester MA: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.2464...8192?entry=ttu

or

College Hills, Birmingham AL: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.5170...l=en&entry=ttu

In terms of living I'd take the Syracuse neighborhood handily, but the Athens neighborhood looks more pleasant to walk around and just more aesthetically pleasing, with the rolling hills. The Syracuse area just looks ordinary.

Worcester for the hillside views and density, and for the New England architecture just looking more striking.

Saskatchewan battle:

Nutana, Saskatoon

Cathedral, Regina?

Regina. I have a soft spot for residential neighborhoods with medians. Love the tree coverage, and the housing stock. I also like neighborhoods with sidewalks.

Battle of the Big 10 Land Grant Quads...

I'll go with the Quad, based off of the architecture and it looks complete compared to the more open look at one end of Bascom Hill.

Patriarche Park, East Lansing MI: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.7401...l=en&entry=ttu

I like East Lansing. The homes and properties seem nicer.

Las Colinas - Irving, Texas

or

Woodfield - Schaumburg, Illinois?

Both are bloody awful with massive stroads. Yuck! Woodfield has nicer landscaping but I'll pick Las Colinas since there's a Whataburger nearby.
