They're pretty similar but I guess Poughkeepsie out of these two neighborhoods, it just looks a bit better kept up and the landscaping is less "bare grass monoculture". However I checked out their downtowns and I prefer Middletown's -- pretty wild how a town that size has a 3-story Asian supermarket. (Maybe it's just the first floor, but having an Asian supermarket at all is impressive)

In terms of living I'd take the Syracuse neighborhood handily, but the Athens neighborhood looks more pleasant to walk around and just more aesthetically pleasing, with the rolling hills. The Syracuse area just looks ordinary.

Worcester for the hillside views and density, and for the New England architecture just looking more striking.
Regina. I have a soft spot for residential neighborhoods with medians. Love the tree coverage, and the housing stock. I also like neighborhoods with sidewalks.
