I haven't seen the foliage in New England but the Blue Ridge Parkway during peak foliage time is beautiful.

I can't really compare but I've seen a video of fall color in Pennsylvania and saw lots of purple fall trees! I never knew they even existed.

Fun fact: Pennsylvania has the longest foliage of any state in the USA. But I say New England and then Pennsylvania and then the Blue Ridge.

Yes New York has a similar foliage to New England and much better than the Blue Ridge!
