Is there any reason why I should be familiar with Grand Rapids? Is it known for anything?

It's known for things, but nothing that has ever given it a national branding. As evidenced by the poll.

Not really. Other than the pyramid scheme-like Amway, it doesn't really have a defining industry (I guess maybe office furniture manufacturing). Gerald Ford wasn't born there, but spent most of his childhood there. Unlike most Michigan cities, it's not really Rust Belt. So, it's not a bad place, it just doesn't have much that distinguishes it from any other city

It's a bigger issue than Jim Harbaugh. They've won one match up in the series since 2003. Michigan football simply isn't on that level anymore.

They've won twice since 2003. It's both. Harbaugh hasn't beat them once and Michigan is clearly not on OSU's level anymore.

That's ok. UM still holds the edge All-time.
