Elvis Presley boyhood home in Tupelo. More interesting and more familiar with his stuff
Aleutian Islands Alaska or Outer Banks North Carolina
The Aleutian Islands, just because they're so remote. Just being there would be an uncommon experience. Plus, they have some World War II history that I'd find interesting.

Fishers Island, NY or Block Island, RI?
I'll go with Block Island RI. I like how it is more out there and feels like more of a true north east beach resort island. Plus the cliffs are more striking.
Annapolis MD or Charlottesville VA.

This one is too easy for me. I love Annapolis. It's just a really great town, full of history and charm and good seafood and just an all-around neat place. I went to Charlottesville once and it left me unexpectedly let-down. I was expecting something like a living ode to Colonial history, and it just . . . wasn't. At least not the parts of it that I saw.
Now, for two gateways to the Smoky Mountain National Park: Gatlinburg, TN or Cherokee, NC. Let's say that you can enter the park from either one, but you can't cross the state line to the other side (except for the Appalachian Trail).

Gatlinburg. I'd rather stay on the Tennessee side as it has Cades Cove and The Sinks, which are two of my favorite places in the Smokies.
Location: northern Vermont - previously NM, WA, & MA

Cincinnati, Ohio or Ottawa, Ontario, Canada?
I've been Ottawa, it's an attractive mid size city. It''s a low key national capital but where it punches above its weight are museums with a collection of surprisingly good ones. The Byward Market area has some local charm and Bank St seems to be the vibrant downtown strip. The city has decent transit with subway tunneled light rail service in the downtown core. Gatineau Park across the river in Quebec is fantastic.
Anyway, I liked Ottawa, but I pick Cincinnati since I haven't been and I'd like to see the Over the Rhine neighborhood.

Winnipeg, Manitoba or Omaha, NE?
Oh man, I've been meaning to spend some time in the Great Plains for a while now. Biggest part of the (lower 48) US I haven't been to. I got a job offer on the East Coast and was getting excited for the drive across the country, but ended up taking a different one here on the West Coast.
But I'm still gonna pick Winnipeg. I'm sure I'll get to Omaha eventually, the Canadian Prairies less so.
NYC area trip: Bronx + Staten Island or all of northern NJ?

All of NJ. Not interested in going to the Bronx or State Island, but I’d like to see Hoboken, Jersey City, etc.
I'm sure it would be fun to explore the Keys... but the SJ Islands look amazing, so that's where I'd go.
Kansas City or Memphis?
I've been to both but enjoyed Kansas City more. Loved the zoo. Tulsa or Omaha?
