In terms of people, I would say Baltimore.
In terms of outskirts of the city, I would say Atlanta.
So it's really a hybrid between Baltimore and Atlanta to me. That said, the monuments, low rise downtown (i.e. no skyscrapers), and being the nation's capital makes it very unique.
Outskirts definitely reminds me of Atlanta.
Downtown reminds me of an upscale version or more city like version of a Savannah or charleston due to the low skyline.
Power is definitely nyc.
Roadways in downtown Boston because of the tunnels running underground like Boston.
So its actually like a mixture of many different cities which does make it unique.
Idk about people because people in DC are very different than Baltimore. They even talk different so I can compare it to that.

I meant mainly the black populations. They have a distinct southern twang. They are different. In Baltimore it's "tew" for (to or two) and in DC its "curry" for (carry); it's a unique Southern dialect from blacks in these 2 cities.

They're still pretty different. Baltimore has a smaller black elite suburban population. But those folks are similar to some PG folks. I still find Baltimore black people to be pretty different than DC. Which was a surprise to me.

Considering that Savannah, Charleston, Richmond, DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, NY, and Boston are all colonial cities, and came of age during a similar time period, there are going to be obvious similarities that’s going to exist between all of them. I think had it not been for the dependence of Savannah, Charleston, and Richmond on slavery, being a part of the Confederacy, and having to endure almost a century of stagnation after the Civil War, I think they would be powerhouse cities identical to Baltimore and Philly.

People in Baltimore and DC are probably just as shocked that people thought that we were that similar. All 5 of the bos-wash cities are very unique.
