I also want to add that maybe the absolute worst traffic to drive might be somewhere in the northeast specifically New york city.. why because NYC and parts of San Francisco are no go zones for 18 wheelers. If you drive trucks and you delivering with a 53 footer to NY City you're either crazy, dont care, or dont know..also the northeastern area didnt grow up around cars like Southern California and the cities are not designed for automobiles so they do tend to drive worse probably. In Cali its not uncommon for teenagers to drive by themselves no ID..

Yeah, Trucks aren't allowed on the FDR Drive on the east side of Manhattan. Big rig Truckers who drive in the city gotta have skills.

Pretty much.. Id say the drivers that need to and do drive in that city gotta be from that city.. you have to know and grow up around it to know where to look for anything you can imagine including low bridges. Anybody else has some sense to stay away from that and let the box trucks do the job.

The main thing I had to get used to and very quick in LA and SF was lane splitting. I didn’t know they could legally do it there until after hordes of bikes suddenly swooped by me while I was in traffic. I literally had to look it up right there on the road... ...I had plenty of time to sit in traffic anyway

Where I live in Richardson, TX, outside of Dallas, is stressful to drive. There is major road construction at the intersection of E. Main St and Greenville Ave which started sometime in October/November 2019 and it is still ongoing. There is a long line of traffic at this intersection at all hours of the day and night as a result.
Also, there is a large population of immigrants from Bangladesh, Pakistan and China who don't know how to drive. They don't know what a turn signal is. A lot of them stop for a long time in the middle of the road and parking lot with no regard for others. They frequently honk their horn, pull out abruptly in front of other vehicles, run stop signs and red lights.

Philadelphia can be some what stressful some of the roads are narrow and also a lot of one way streets it gets confusing sometimes.

In OC you have to pay attention to what lane you’re in. You may think you’re on 405 until you’re on 55.

Interesting that Lubbock TX has the highest stress rating. I've never been there but I never envisioned them having any sort of traffic problems.

I've driven through Lubbock several times. Do not recall any travel issues.
