I voted for Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater. I love Ft. Lauderdale /Miami too. And the Low country of SC.

Birmingham is my favorite, love the rolling hills along 459. I forgot which road i drove on in Birmingham but It was absolutely gorgeous driving in and out of a valley and then on the side of the hill

Wow this is a tough poll. I'll have to mull this over before I actually vote.

I'm tossing out Washington DC and New Orleans. Both are flat and swampy, and their rivers aren't particularly scenic - especially New Orleans.

Same with Miami and Tampa, as they're pretty similar. The only scenic thing about them is the waterfront areas, as they are flat and fairly dull as you go inland.

The unique thing about Richmond is the rapids along the James River, and the fact that downtown Richmond itself is very hilly.

Atlanta and Nashville are fairly similar as they both have very hilly areas within their metro areas. I'd put Nashville ahead of Atlanta because it has the Cumberland River and the lake formed by the dam (not sure if the lake has a name), while Lake Lanier is too far removed from Atlanta to truly be considered within the metro area for me.

Austin is the only one on this list I've never visited. It's right on the edge of the Hill Country though, and Lake Travis is really nice. You can actually see hills from some of the bridges over the Colorado River. Austin also does a great job with its riverfront.

I think the Top 2 are Austin and Nashville, but I'll have to think a bit more before I vote...

Atlanta or Austin from what I’ve seen. Miami is really beautiful as well on the coast.

I was honestly extremely close to adding Birmingham. It would’ve been #9. Haha

Yeah come to think of it, Birmingham probably beats Austin and Nashville.

Tulsa is really nice. Tons of sunshine and tall buildings mixed with the natural beauty of the Ozarks.

Charleston? Edit: oh, NVM, it's too small.

DC doesn't belong on that list. The best part about it is the architecture and trees

What does "Southern" mean in this context? If it's regional, it's between Austin and Miami. If it's cultural, Tampa nor Miami belong on the list.
