A 28 y/o man was shot and killed last night in Portsmouth, on the edges of Prentis Park. Another showed up at the hospital 30 mins later with non-life threatening injuries, don't know if they were connected or not. That's 24 for the year.
There's been 10 people shot since Friday across HR, a pair of double shootings in NN and Hampton contributes to half of the total.

I am blown away that Arlington has only had one homicide this year... I know it is technically a "County", but I still consider it a city. I would venture to guess its homicide rate is the lowest in the country for cities over 200,000 people.
Some Cali, Arizona, Western in general and DFW area suburbs likely have zero with over 100,000 people.
