Well, Bellevue really isn't an independent city - it's an eastern suburb of Seattle.

Well it is an independent city and an edge city outside of Seattle . But it is in the Seattle Metro Area . I looked it up the census bureau classified it as an edge city not a suburb. Guess I would have to look up what the difference is between an edge city and a suburb lol.

Definitely love Anchorage's skyline.

Baton Rouge is a bit bigger in metro area, at over 700k, but it's got an interesting skyline, as well.

Good gosh, it's amazing how many people come on these threads and throw up (good analogy) city skylines with metros of 3 and 4 million people and totally disregard the thread rules, but say "Oh well, I know the metro population is over 500K but I just had to put up a pic of <insert city with a metro population of 1,000,000+ here>.... "

Reading comprehension people?

Even Watertown NY (population: 27,000) has a skyline. As a kid, moving up North from the South I was surprised that even small towns like Binghamton NY, Utica, and Watertown had skylines.
