Memphis to the best of my knowledge is at 32, and Atlanta is at 18.

Memphis may overtake Chicago this early in the year by raw homicides.

Nashville 6 as of February 3rd. This a nearly 13% drop over this time last year. If this trend continues, Nashville could see under 100 since 2020.

Where did you get 18 for Atlanta? Did you mean 8? It was at 5 around the end of January and I highly doubt it had that many since then.

(Update) I just checked the APD site and it shows 8, tie with last year.

I had to look it up they say as of Jan 28 there were 27 homicides so 32 sounds about right. Not too sure how many are murders but its already exceeding last year.

Baltimore is 22 after a double homicides yesterday.

February was usually the "slowest" month but the number already hit 6 a week in.

St Louis is terrible. 2023's final numbers were released last night, and the shooting rate was 220, higher than Jackson's and Memphis', and that was considered a down year, too.
