Pretty much any place with a lot of blacks is going to have a good number of single sistas. Unfortunately, black women are single at higher rates so there are a ton to pick from anywhere with a decent black population.

Just because the females you've met weren't from Detroit means there aren't many? I have fam in ATL, actually GA period. I know and met PLENTY of Detroit people every time I'm down there.

And Just because you have family here and you visit, doesnt mean majority of the females are from detroit. In the 8 years that I have been here I have ran into more women from NE and South than Detroit. I never said Detroit women arent here. There just not in Large numbers Like NE cities are.

First off, where did I say that "most" of the women there are from Detroit? where did I say there are more Detroit women than NY or anywhere else? If you really think its not a lot of Detroit people, male and female, in ATL believe what you want. Like I've said before Detroit people have been moving to ATL since the 70s. In high numbers. The first two places Detroit people go when relocating is the ATL area and the Chicago area. No matter where I'm at in GA, from buckhead to college park to thomasville, I ALWAYS end up meeting Detroit people. They often tend to "click up" down there.

I've met way more NY people in FL than I've met in ATL. Does that mean there are more NY people there than ATL? smh

hmmmm i thought that detroitlove said that in atl youll find a lot of fine looking un-ghetto folks in atl which sounds reasonable. Now if she said the majority are from Detroit then that is wrong.

That is not what I said. Someone said you can find classy black women in ATL and if you like hoodrats go to Detroit.....all I said was a "good" percentage of those "classy" black women are originally from Detroit. That is all. I could say the same about a good percentage (not all, not most, not the majority etc) are from NY, Chicago, FL and many other cities as well. Which is true. There are a lot of blacks in ATL from other cities with better jobs and living better than many of the natives
