Huh? If you're going by that, than Boston is relatively new to winning titles. NYC teams have won at least 2 titles in every decade since the 1920's. The New York Yankees-with 26 World Series Titles-won nearly as many championships as all 4 Boston's pro teams combined ( 33 championship titles. )

There was a big issue about that here in New York. Anyone who wore a Knicks jersey and chanted "MVP" to Kobe, need to stop showing up at the Garden. No self-respecting Knick fan or even a New Yorker will ever cheer for the other team, especially when he is killing them, but I digress.

Yes, the Knicks suck, but they still manage to pull a crowd every single night. This is New York, even when our teams are down, we still support them. Everybody knows that there is a 99.9% change that LeBron will be a Knick in 2010. This is just a warm-up for things to come.

And the Mets still sell more than the Kings and Clippers combined. Boy, that NL NY team can still pack 'em in.

It's actually both. Look at "Seltik" FC in Scotland and "Keltik" Crusaders in Wales. Both are Celtic nations, but pronounce it differently.

I like the Staples center waaay better then MSG. But NYC wins this one. NYC has some CRAZY fans. NYC is TRULY a better sports city. But they DID cheer MVP for Kobe in there own court when he scored 61 on them. I've NEVER heard that from any other team.
