Honestly MSG doesn't look as ugly in person as it does in pictures. Penn Station is so nasty, you would never know it's the busiest train station on the continent because it's like a school hallway on steroids and with stores and restaurants instead of classrooms. The ceilings are super low in certain parts too, I hate being in there for too long.

However I choose the Staples Center, better looking design by far in my opinion.

As far as an arena, I cannot fathom why anyone would choose MSG over Staples Center to see a show or game. MSG is a dump in comparison, many arenas in the us are far better than MSG. But in terms of accessibility and the surrounding neighborhood, I can see why one would prefer MSG. The arena itself is a joke though.

They are under $850 million renovation this year and the next. They will totally rebuild the inside.

Staple Center is tops. Simply an all around better arena. Seats are more comfortable and so on. The 3 times I've been to events at Staples I caught the subway or walked from my friends place a couple of blocks away. Public transportation in dt L.A. is great.

Thanks, wondering if the Barclay center will take away any other teams that usually play at MSG or even events usually held at MSG?

It's supposed to be the new home of the Nets. I wonder if it was Jay-Z's idea to move them to Brooklyn.
