That wasn't me...it was someone who sounds like me. I think you said it.

I second that. However, in my opinion, New York has a wider variety of options, making its culinary appeal greater.

There are still many great culinary cities I haven't been to but between Orlando and Miami I hate to be the bearer of bad news for all you theory fighters that have never actually spent a good amount of time in either one but Orlando is significantly better all around dining. Miami has a few upscale restaurants that are good, some that are legendary, but the overall culinary world of Miami is really quite bad. Just because its a big city doesn't mean its got good food.

The top 10 according to Forbes:
1. New York
2. Chicago
3. San Francisco
4. Los Angeles
5. New Orleans
6. Houston
7. Washington, D.C.
8. Atlanta
9. Boston
10. Las Vegas

I can't speak on some because for the real restaurant answers you have to spend pretty significant time in the place to experience them but for Florida - Orlando is significantly superior in overall dining to Miami, Tampa, or Jacksonville. Miami is 24 hours and very extravagant decors but the actual food quality is often the area that gets hit.
