I've gone to Temple with a friend of mine, and have gone to various bar and bat mitzvahs. You don't have to be a certain religion to participate in their rituals. And me teaching has nothing to do with religion. Do I teach at a religious school? No. I don't know about religious because I don't care about them at all. I just don't care to learn about religions. That doesn't make me a smart or dumb person. Surprising that a moderator would say something like that.
Seriously, since when does my teaching degree (in elementary education, mind you) have to do with me knowing about the Mormon religion?

I heard the NYPD discrimination in brooklyn is horrible. One girl I met from brooklyn told me how an NYPD officer stuck a gun in her brothers mouth and called him a ******. TRUE STORY. And I remember when the NYPD abused that haitian guy a few years back. We were upset. As a black Haitian guy i'd hate to be walkin in NYC at night , NOT because of the thugs, because of the NYPD!!!!
I never heard stories like that in the Bronx. The minority in the Bronx are the majority. So you would not have to worry about that in the Bronx

how many unsung acts of goodness and right were performed by officers in the new york city area during the time that the few bad apples got all of the attention? it is sad when the majority suffers for the minority.

Are not 95% of your posts about fighting stereotypes about the South? So if you understand that alot of stereotypes said about the south are outright dead WRONG, is it not possible the same thing is true about the North?
All of america knows NYPD is corrupt, than again....most police departments are.
From my experience it's the south that tends to hate on the "yankees" from up north. Many of them are still fighting the civil war in their heads. Southern hospitality is shown towards others from the south. I've experienced this firsthand, not with all southerners of course, but quite a few. Northerners might tease a southerner about their accents, but there is no hatred towards them like the southerners towards the northerners.
But then again, you won't see this, because I'm on your "ignore list."
