With the societal chaos going on today any state that still has horse and buggies as a critical means of transportation for a segment of its population is ok in my book.

I really want to visit the Amish country in PA again. I went when I was 12 and loved it. Can't do that in Florida

Southern PA's winters aren't very cold/snowy. Colder than Fla, of course.

You don't think Pittsburgh is a barrel of laughs? (I can't wait to get pummelled for that one!)

PA is diverse in Philly, though not many Cubans, I"ll conced. Pgh is mostly black/white.

That's not what I've heard.

Well, there's only so much culture in the Everglades, lol. All it is is a swamp with alligators. You go on an air boat ride for 20 minutes and that's it. Go see a few alligators and get eaten alive by mosquitoes and that's the end. At least with the Amish country you can participate in the activities they do, tour the area with the farms and shops, etc. You can spend a couple days there, as opposed to an hour in the Everglades

is in full force so all the fires are put out there. They keep closing Alligator Alley on almost a daily basis. The smell of smoke from those fires is really horrific around here.

You won't get that in Pa.
