Tell ya what, if you wanna make this about vibrancy and ground level stuff (both of which have NOTHING to do with this thread) then make a seperate thead about just that.

Leave this on topic.

I think it's more likely that several northerners are dismayed that Philadelphia isn't the clear winner by a landslide, so they find it necessary to bring up some unrelated advantage to make Houston look worse. It's the same reason that several of you are constantly having to be reminded to stay on topic. I've seen the same scenario played out in other threads.
If you can't comprehend the definition of a "skyline", then that's your problem. Don't take it out on us. As far as I'm concerned, Houston is losing this poll with the upmost amount of class.
While you're looking up the definition of "skyline", be sure to look up "straw man", as well.
How so, Houston has an extrememly admirable skyline. Personally I like both, I do like the compression of Philly a little more but honeslty I have enjoyed many of the Houston pics and by no means have an issue with anyone who prefers Houston. To me anyone who says either is a clear winner is likely short sighted. Also anyone who thinks either is like a Chicago or NYC is clearly short sighted. I also dont understand this myopic view of skyline, like its only important from a distance etc. I find architecture and skyline equally as interesting up close or even how it interacts with a space and even people.
If you can see the streets or the folks below, then it isn't a skyline picture. The focus of the picture should be the towers.
