What Philly would've looked like with a 1,500 foot Supertall

...and I'm pretty sure that neither of you are supposed to be posting pictures that don't belong to you anyway.

2 to 1 is pretty much a landslide.

Houston's posters (at least some in this thread) have shown they are quite capable of doing this on their own without any outside help.

Funny, but I was thinking the same thing about your narrow view.

Tell ya what, if you wanna make this about vibrancy and ground level stuff (both of which have NOTHING to do with this thread) then make a seperate thead about just that.

Leave this on topic.

I have always admired the architecture Philly's skyline has to offer. The buildings there have a lot of personality.

Post a link of the pictures source and you should be good?

It's the same reason that several of you are constantly having to be reminded to stay on topic. I've seen the same scenario played out in other threads.

If you can't comprehend the definition of a "skyline", then that's your problem. Don't take it out on us. As far as I'm concerned, Houston is losing this poll with the upmost amount of class.

While you're looking up the definition of "skyline", be sure to look up "straw man", as well.
How so, Houston has an extrememly admirable skyline. Personally I like both, I do like the compression of Philly a little more but honeslty I have enjoyed many of the Houston pics and by no means have an issue with anyone who prefers Houston. To me anyone who says either is a clear winner is likely short sighted. Also anyone who thinks either is like a Chicago or NYC is clearly short sighted. I also dont understand this myopic view of skyline, like its only important from a distance etc. I find architecture and skyline equally as interesting up close or even how it interacts with a space and even people.

Skyline:

2. The outline of a group of buildings or a mountain range seen against the SKY

If you can see the streets or the folks below, then it isn't a skyline picture. The focus of the picture should be the towers.
