Why does everything need to become a pissing contest between a city and NYC with you? No one even instigated anything, you just showed up with your ego and a tape measure.

I just looked it up and Jluke is correct and the Waco Susepnsion Bridge was created by the same architect who designed the Brooklyn Bridge!

What is even more amazing that only a few years after the devastation of the Civil War (1869), Waco was able to pay for such a beautiful bridge instead of putting up something cheap like is so often done today. We need that kind of public spirit and attitude, not to mention architects like Roebling --- today!

Yeah. Only separate by about only 500 people. I would guess those two would go back and forth for a while as far as city limits go.

The only reason it is small because the schools in Dallas Independent School District were built in the 30s 40s 50s when the population of Dallas was really small so instead of expanding the schools new schools were built next to each other or down the street from each other.

The elementary school I went to Clara Oliver built 1956

The middle school I went to Boude Storey Built in 1932

The high school I went to Lincoln High built 1939
