I would think the most talked about states here are.

#1- CA
#2- NY
#3- TX
#4- NJ
#5- FL

Probably because it has the greatest population and many large and medium sized cities.

After NY what you do you have?

Buffalo Rochester and Syracuse? The armpits of the NE.

For mostly the same reasons that NYC is the most talked about city.

My guess for most talked about states are CA, FL, and then Texas.
