Now I know you have no idea what the **** you are talking about.
I don't think u even know what you are talknbout about....these are facts provided to you....stop complaining about something you cant even prove....give us data this thread is super old but u sound foolish to try to debunk facts with no facts to counter..
The demographic argument isn't real solid because of this reason. The city of Detroit since 1990 to the present has the highest proportion of African Americans as any major city, and has not led major cities in per capita murder rate in any given year since 1990 to the present. People think that it did many times during that period and it's demographics are probably the main reason for that perception. On average, from 1990-2010, New Orleans' murder rate is highest followed by D.C. then Detroit with Baltimore and St Louis rounding out the top 5 of major cities.
This is pure fact and truth...if some1 from new Orleans is telling you what the most dangerous cities were then take heed
Why dont you check again? D.C.'s wasnt close to Chicago in crime at all in the last few years. And for the last time chicago was the most dangerous city in the 90's go read over the 46 pages for more...
Hasn't everyone just proved that multiple other cities were quite a bit more dangerous?? That's a weird thing to boast about anyway, having the most dangerous city.

*GASP* You didnt know.
You gotta have a gutter a$$ city to get cool points
Maybe not "irrelevant", but lets just say A city's murder rate doesnt always tell the whole story.
True, if you compare LA's and Chicago's crime rate or murder rate, you wouldn't know, some neighborhoods and unincorporated areas around LA are just as dangerous as the worst Chicago neighborhoods, and have a similar crime and murder rate, LA simply has many more neighborhoods with a low crime rate, and a few less high crime neighborhoods, but LA's Florence, Florence-Graham, Westmont, Boyle Heights, Green Meadows, Watts, and others are as dangerous as, Chicago's West Englewood, Englewood, West and East Garfield Park, Humboldt Park, Greater Grand Crossing, it also depends from year to year.
Didn't read the thread, but New Orleans' current murder rate is still higher than most cities' in the 90s. It's around 60 per 100k now; in 1994 it was almost 100 per 100k.
It's not something I'm happy about. It absolutely sucks that I live "adjacent" to the ghetto and can't go outside at 4 a.m. without wondering if the two guys walking down the street are about to rob me.
