Which is obviously not the case with Philly.

You all can dish it but can't take it.

What else is new?

Oh spare us the feigned enlightenment.

There is no polite discourse with the Philly crew. Especially when it comes to SF. We have at least a dozen threads in city-vs-city that is proof of that. Give them a little courtesy, they don't bat an eye at responding with rudeness and insults.

We arent talking about equals here folks. No, the parity between these 2 disappeared a long time ago.
San Francisco is a great place if you find it acceptable for a grown man to wear capri pants and carry a man purse. I bet 18 Montclair gets to wear his skorts on casual Fridays.

no feigned enlightenment here, just some wisdom and street smarts

I have lived in SF, NYC, Philly, and DC and quite frankly don't see many differances with the exception NYC

Philly is not really a polite town, friendly maybe but polite no. I suggest you come down to enjoy some brotherly love and pontificate your wears

Your arrogance is equally annoying as is impetuous ramblings of others

Just for the record: (Oh and on medicine my friend don't worry basically 80% of the worlds pharmaceuticals are run from these parts) here is the medicine:

Rank "City" GDP in $ID BN

4 Philadelphia $ 388
9 San Francisco $ 297

Ok fine add your little suburban wonderland to the South (maybe SF needs the help of it's little friend 40 miles away to play, not sure, I have heard of the twin cities, suppose these were seperated at birth)

San Jose $ 103 (sorry I couln't find the rank)

I'll take my little urban Kindom and have that other one just to north should I desire to wander out of my meek little place, it laughs at both of us

1 New York City $ 1406

I bet you secretly harbor desires for men in capri shorts and manbags.

You go Girl.

Sorry, no go.

New York and Philadelphia are not related either by MSA or CSA. The connection via commuters is next to nothing.

The Bay Area is a unified region that NY-Phi will never be.

Time for a third dose of reality:
5. San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland, CA CSA $508.418 Billion

9. Philadelphia-Camden-Vineland, PA-NJ-DE-MD CSA $351.680 Billion

He wasn't saying NY and Philly are related by MSA or CSA. The point was that Philly stands strong on its own, and that just like how San Fran gets a bump by San Jose, Philly has an urban gem on its doorstep that outranks all...part of the benefit of being in Philly.
