Hmmmm, snow mobile or 4-wheeler? I'll take the 4-wheeler thank you (and the sweet iced tea too).
To each their own you NASCAR lovin hillbilly.

Obviously ATVs are big in MN as two of the major manufacturers of snow mobiles and ATVs are based in the Minneapolis area (Arctic Cat and Polaris). Arctic Cat recently moved its corporate headquarters to the Minneapolis area.

I would want to live in from Raleigh from December to March, and Minneapolis from April to November.

Twin Cities Population: 3.5 million

Professional Sports: NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL

Largest University in State: University of Minnesota

Arts, Parks, Zoos, Trails, Museums, and theaters by the handful

Suburbs, urban neighborhoods and lakes.

The only thing that Raliegh has over the Twin Cities is maybe the mountains, research triangle, ocean proximity, college sports, and WEATHER

The Twin Cities also has professional Lacrosse, which is much more entertaining than the WNBA.

As far as college sports are concerned, college hockey is to the TC area what college basketball is to the Raleigh area. Gopher basketball, however, does have a solid following. Also, I never realized how big wrestling is at the U of M.

The U of M athletics are always pretty good, but never spectacular. Wrestling is always one of the powerhouses

Well, let's see....
First of all, Raleigh isn't spelled Raliegh.
Secondly, more than one thing doesn't qualify as "The only thing".

I have been to Minneapolis; it's a really fine city and I really liked it. Why the pissing match? There's enough love to go around for both cities.
Frankly, Raleigh doesn't need any added boosterism.

Oh...I am going to go pop some popcorn and sit and wait for urbancharlotte's reply to this accusation. It should be really entertaining.

BTW, Raleigh doesn't have a NASCAR venue anywhere in its MSA or its combined CSA.
