Love them all...however, when posed the ? as to which is the most cosmopolitan...I have to say Charleston. It is older than the other two by about 100 years, and was at one time one of the most important cities on the Eastern Seaboard.

All great cities in their own right, but as a native SC'er, gotta go with Charleston. But the Squares of Savannah ROCK!

My wife and I have been to Charleston 4 times, Savannah 3 times, and Wilmington 1 time. Of the three cities, we talk more about going back to Savannah more than either of the other two and Charleston more than Wilmington. We just like strolling the riverfront, the squares, and Forsyth Park in Savannah more. But as far as outright fun, we've had the most fun at the Summer Reggae Nights concert series in James Island County Park outside Charleston. We've been twice and plan to go back sometime in the future.

Wilmington is just as beautiful, but not as overrun with tourists as Savannah and Charleston. Some people like it better for that very reason.

Savannah is the most interesting.

Charleston is the most well-known.

Wilmington is the most laid back.

I voted Wilmington to show it some love. Plus I know it has a very significant port. If I could go back and make some adjustments, I would add Mobile instead of Wilmington. But I figure the close proximity of the three is good.

I kind of doubt that Mobile would have gotten any votes either...although Wilmington is a beautiful, historic city with awesome beaches and lots of tourism, there really aren't any other places I can think of that can compete with Charleston and Savannah.
