Attractions of New Jersey??? Are you not aware of Florida's tourism industry? New Jersey is a fine state, but cannot compare to Florida in that respect.

Florida has THE largest and most visited resort in the world...plus:

Busch Gardens
SeaWorld
Universal Studios
Miami Beach
Key West/Florida Keys
Amelia Island
Sanibel Island
Kennedy Space Center
Dayton 500
dozens of aquariums/museums/theme parks/zoos/beaches/resorts
professional and college sports
and the list goes on and on...

i'd rather take a trip into nyc or philly than any of those places listed ...
yeah they aren't IN nj...but not like nj borders are closed up either and the culture is pretty much the same. nj basically functions as a giant suburb of nyc and philly anyhow...
also prefer culture in nj over florida...a clue as to why... "New Jersey overall is considered to have one of the best public education systems in the United States. 54% of high school graduates continue on to college, which is tied with Massachusetts for the second highest rate in the nation."

"According to national figures, Florida's graduation rate was 55.7 percent in 2002, putting it at No. 48 nationally, ahead of only Georgia and South Carolina."

It isn't just that, FL gov in general doesn't care much about it citizens... a pretty **** poor place to live in if you are mildly concerned with what is going on around you, local or state politics.

trust me...this has a big effect on everyday life...something I don't want to live in again.

will take new jersey

Great weather such as the blistering hot summers and the freezing cold winters? Or maybe you meant the damp, grey, rainy period they call "spring"

Give me Florida any day.

Right back at ya DailyJournalist.
New Jersey, hands down. I would rather be in NJ hands down, than living here in Florida.

Given all the people moving OUT of Florida, I think a lot of people agree.

Actually, there's very small difference between Sunshine days in Winter and Summertime. NJ has 15 - 20 Sunshine days/month.
So, more than half of the spring days are sunny.

I prefer the topography of NJ and the 4 seasons. I love to visit FL though.
