A lot of people are probably suprised Atlanta had this architechal marvel before it's designer built one in New York but contrary to popular belief Atlanta really is a historical city.

Gets my vote.
Orginial, huh?

Then I am sure you would be fair and vote in an open poll for the Toronto Flatiron building over both the Atlanta and New York buildings.

Toronto 1892
Atlanta 1897
New York 1902

Was going to stay out of this, but in fairness, the Toronto version looks very different: different color, different rooftop. By contrast, the NYC version is a larger almost exact replica of the ATL version.

We should really just add all the flatirons in America. Any pictures of Chicago's version?

You are right about Toronto's Flatiron, but I wouldn't say that NYC's version is almost an exact replica of Atlanta's, the two do look more similar to each other than the Toronto version but they have a lot of differences besides size.

Toronto's looks nice btw .

Not long ago I read that other thread that, the one that inspired the OP. It's actually getting a little repetitive on here (General US).

I think this thread had an unusually high amount of tension because it's hard to divorce the poll from the precipitating thread. Of course NYC's Flatiron is prettier. And Madison Square Park is a better setting than Woodruff Park by almost any standard. But the author of this poll made false claims about the Atlanta building's setting in another thread, and honestly, that's why I voted how I did. That and the buildings are similar enough that one could vote on principle for the earlier version.

I voted for NY's. But it's funny that ATL's flatiron predates NYC's. No one on this website would have EVER known that. I guess ATL isn't just a NEW sprawlsville city with no character.
