What are the most boring and plain shaped states on the US map?? Im going for Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and the Dakotas since those are simply squares or rectangles. On the other hand list what you feel are the more interesting shapes as well.
If anyone could post a map for a visual it would be appreciated.
Vermont and New Hampshire, would , if joined together, form a near-perfect rectangle, but this didn't happen, of course..
Their respective shapes are a good indicator of population, though, as NH has Manchester and Nashua in the bottom tier, while VT has Burlington and Chittenden County in the northern section.
