Why are you using a mocking tone? Isnt the point of blogging on this site to discuss and argue points?

All I said was that Houston and Dallas arent tourist destinations- they are business destinations.
and
Orlando is neither historical nor architecturally engaging.

My bad. I see what you're saying. It makes sense. I was just half-joking.

Every city is historical,it is just that some cities are more historical than others. Miami Beach is my favorite place with its Art-Deco along with the beautiful City of Coral Gables developed and founded by George Merrick.

There are 108 national historic landmarks alone in NYC. Add into that the amount of theatres and such you can see:

New York, Boston, and Philadelphia (in no particular order) are clearly the most historical cities (by considering their contributions in more than just colonial eras as well) by alot. After the colonial and revolutionary period, Boston and New York were far more relevant than Philadelphia for both science as well as industry (Boston had Alexander Graham Bell and Francis Cabot Lowell, New York had Nikola Tesla)

As far as recent history goes, New York as been especially relevant, especially regarding cultural breakthroughs, and there now exist a number of landmarks of recent cultural relevance (to punk rock, jazz, modern art- think Basquiat, the Ramones (53rd and 3rd, CBGBs, Warhols factory at 1342 lexington, Shnabel's block in chelsea, the chelsea hotel)
