Ummmmmm. Probably because your standards for transit are lower than mine.
Everyone that I know who has moved to Atlanta has complained about their transit. MARTA IS AWFUL!!!
Honestly, it doesn;t matter if I have never stepped foot in Atlanta. Anyone can tell from the number of stations and number of riders per day that their transit sucks.
Well I think if I lived in New york I probably would do better walking then doing public transportation or driving.. I might just get to work faster...
Umm, we're talking about people who don't use transit here. Use some flippin common sense. It's bad when the flippin' New Orleanian has more than the mighty New Yorker .
Has more of what?
If you are talking about most for declining metro area then New Orleans has the most for population loss. LOL!

Ok, you might want to check that attitude at the door.
I have lived in NYC, Tokyo, Mumbai, and Manila for significant portions of time. NYC and Tokyo have great transit.. Mumbai and Manila WISH they had the transit that Atlanta has. For example, just TRY to get from Kurla to Churhgate in Mumbai on any day in less than two hours. Talk about a nightmare
Hahaha! Good point. But I will add if you a draw a line from Boston on down to Washington D.C. that's the true scope of Northeaster/Mid-Atlantic sprawl
That is not one metro area. Also, Richmond is a southern city. Nice try!
I live in NYC for a year troll!!! I know how the Highways in NYC are slammed with cars as well as people using transit and walking.. dont try to act like NYC is not dependent on cars.... You have the nerve to call me ignorant lol
Trick, you have never even heard of my neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Los Angeles is the densest metro area in the United States by a large margin.
