Note that I stated "probably" a dozen...which means that I was guessing. But I know there are others besides the four that you listed from the Wikipedia article.
Note also that I didn't mention anything about height, but I definitely disagree that a 500' building can most certainly make a notable impact on the Atlanta (or most any other city) skyline.
Depends where that 500' building is, if its on the outskirts of a city's business district, i would agree, it would make a notable impact.
If its in a low-dense district, then a 500' bldng. would make a notable impact. If its in a relatively short skyline, then yes it would make a notable impact.
But in most major skylines, a 500' wouldnt make a notable impact. Houston's One Park Place (501') didn't make a notable impact last year, skyline-wise. Do you want to know why, location, location, location. Even though it was on the outskirts of DT, it was facing the core, and not on its side, so it just covered up a building, but made no notable impact. So i respectfully disagree, it depends on its location wether 500 footer can actually make a notable impact.
And thats the only reply from your post that actually warrants a response.
The met 3 is right by the regency hyatt in downtown it's being sitting there for the past year and half unfinished and untouched.I gurantee if you ride by there you will see.. I'll be back home in Miami for memorial. Day I'll check out these buildings to se what the progress looks like

met 1 and 2 are complete, met 3 on the other hand, i dont think work has started all i know is work was put on hold.
Yes it is. Just because Atlanta has a few buildings that are taller than Miami's tallest building does not mean Atlanta is taller. Miami has many more buildings than Atlanta.
Doesn't matter. If City A has even ONE tower that's taller than all the rest of City B, well there you go, City A is taller than City B.
What you are thinking of is something different.
I pick Atlanta. Sorry Miami, but even though you're in my homestate Atlanta's architecture and variety will win me over every time.

Atlanta is noticeably taller than Miami thanks to its top 10, i guess, but your reasoning is flawed.
What if City A's tallest was 800 ft, and City B's tallest was 750 ft, while City A's top 10 ranged from 500 ft to 800 ft, and City B's(let's say a lot more dense)top 10 ranged from 600 ft to 750 ft. City B had a taller top 10, so it would be taller than City A even though its tallest was 50 ft taller than City B's tallest.
You cant base a city's height solely on their tallest building, or on one building.

...Come again? Lol kidding.
Kind of.
These things are a lot easier to illustrate than to explain in words but I get what you're saying.
