Yeah, Shorty just happened to be sitting in a car with Jerome "Man Man" Hampton who had just been released from jail and known on the streets as someone with many murders under his belt, some of which were in retaliation from Soulja Slim's murder. Just so happened that the person that many believe killed Slim, Garelle Smith, known to have many murders under his belt also was released from jai about a month ago.
if Brooklyn look like that in just 2 months imagine what the yearly map would look like. Doing some research i have found out that their are some nyc hoods that have more murders then some whole cities.
west palm beach is a high crime city i think and averages 20 something murders a year. its funny how the high bridge section of the bronx has near the same population i think and receives more or close to the same amount of murder as a west palm beach(example)
and yea 2010 was a better year for oakland.
How big is the Bronx? I'm assuming that they'd have 100+ murders a year with the reputation it gets but maybe not. And the difference is that West Palm Beach isn't all low income housing. around 20 murders for a city of 100,000 is bad but not particularly bad. West Oakland has about 30,000 people and had that many in 07, 08 and I think this year.
they stopped updating this in October 2009, the numbers aren't always correct, the NYPD is notorious for not releasing info, but it gives a good idea of patterns.
Anyone know what the year's total for Juarez so far is?
