How is DC not on this list? Its the transient city. Everyone lives there for 3-5 years and moves on to NYC, LA, SF, Chicago, etc

I live in Phoenix. Almost everyone I know here has been here for less than 6 years and many of the people I went to high school / college with no longer live here.

DC is also VERY transient. People generally don't stay there for longer than 5-10 years unless they were natives to the area or have a stable (non-politically motivated) government position.
