Umm... NO!

Those numbers happen to be for the entire city of Chicago not just the south side. The south side by itself would probably be one of the worst places in the country. Seriously do some research before posting nonsense and calling other people ignorant.

I dont need to do research in order to figure out where crime is coming from in chicago lol its obvious its the southside you were saying the whole entire city for example people say los angeles is dangerous they usually mean compron or watts.

Like I said people should just take your word for it instead of actual stats right? Crime stats are from the entire city which as a whole is one of the highest in the country. Which obviously means the worst part of the city like the south side would be even worse. Seriously how can something so simple be so hard to get that though your brain?

Crime is one thing since it's statistical, but friendly is subjective. Usually in comparison to cities of its size, Chicago's friendlier than most. Again, subjective, but that's usually what I've commonly seen said.

Listen you are missing my whole entire point, i think you just misunderstood me. No YYuusr you got it all entirely wrong, okay? My point was most of chicagos crime is on the southside that it and yes i do agree with crime stats, i quoted you because you said chicago was crime ridden, i am trying to say NOT ALL of chicago is crime ridden. Do you get it now?

Unless you can say the every other part of the city bar south side is crime ridden there is really no point behind this. Every city has safe and unsafe parts of it. I'm pretty sure you can find safe places in Detroit too. Hell I mean if you can find a job and live your life in the safe and friendly part of it pretty much any city is good. But not everybody can do that. Fact still doesn't change that there will be limited opportunities and resources the city has to offer you if you take large portions of it completely out of the equation. The south side of Chicago might make up less than 30% of the population but the up 60% of the city in terms of area. What Chicago has to offer in things like low cost, jobs would obviously get worse if you can't even access the south side. Also, you were talking about how Indianapolis isn't that much of a major city. How is Chicago that major then if there is no south side?

AFAIK there are some pretty bad areas on the west side too.

Yeah I agree that it's subjective but criminals and a good majority people from the projects aren't exactly what I would call friendly which there is a good amount of in Chicago. If you combine that with your usual unfriendly dick which there is everyhwere and always will be no matter what city it doesn't really come out as all that friendly to me. But I guess it depends on what you experienced there and where. In certain types of places most people will be friendly in pretty much majority of cities.
