If they were to show a top 20 it might make more sense.

Well, if they calculated it by MSA's then it shouldn't matter if ppl went to Oakland, SJ, or Palo Alto etc. because they're all in the same metro as SF right?

The myth of SF and the Bay, on this site, is beginning to unravel.

So now because certain peoples cities arent on the list now the list is flawed.... Most of the other cities that are there like Atlant and Houston are mostly buisness travelers.. I know Atlanta is Convention city

Atlanta having one of the busiest airports in the country probably has something to with its ranking, its a bonafide "airhub".

I am quite surprised that Houston is in the top 10. I surely thought San Antonio would have been the number one most visited place in Texas with the Riverwalk, Sea World, and other theme parks.

San Jose and it's suburbs are in a different MSA. But the Bay Area with SJ, SF, Oakland = CSA.

So I can see why SF came out weak on this list.

Texas Medical Center in Houston is the largest such medical center in the world and the fact that it's the number one cancer treatment center in the world, probably has a lot to do with it.

To people abroad who have illness TMC > Riverwalk.

No. The figure given for Atlanta has nothing to do with the airport, those are actual visitors.

The airport handles about 90 million people a year.
