Since overseas tourists comprise most of a city's tourism and matter way more than American tourists

Maybe so, but IMHO it is a better list provided by the US Dept of Commerce. It gives a better idea of what tourists and visitors might WANT to see versus a Forbes list with includes numbers by heavy business and convention traveling.

Not to mention, I am not so sure about Forbes lists anyway.

I agree, I see a lot of inconsistency in many of Forbes lists. Most times their list is always full of a few surprises that seem to be a bit sketch.

I always go with the official stats. Forbes = Not official, MHO.
